Our grow tent makes it easy to grow food plants reliably year-round – even if you don’t have time to baby-sit the plants. With our tent, you can go away for up to a month and your plants will be doing just fine. No green thumb needed! Also, the font on the pop-ups has some issues with characters being replaced. Let’s use a more standard web-safe font, bold and Italic hopefully.

Now you can grow up to 100 organic herb, vegetable and fruit plants right in your own kitchen, garage or closet. Juicers enjoy their drinks 2 minutes after harvesting – not two weeks as with store-bought greens.

Our vision is to implement multiple units at community centers, senior centers, churches, and social organizations to create “mini-farms” that are easy to staff and maintain. These mini-farms will enable participants of all ages and abilities, including those with disabilities, to engage in gardening and food production.

The produce grown can be sold locally at farmer’s markets, with proceeds supporting community members on WIC or providing income for individuals seeking employment. As the community consumes more organic food, health outcomes are expected to improve, and increased involvement will foster neighborhood pride and social cohesion.

This program promotes sustainable, healthy living while empowering community members through participation in urban agriculture.
